Frasca La Guaragna Nizza 2021
The Frasca family's love for Piedmont and its world-renowned wines inspired them to return to Italy. The vision: to produce an elegant wine that expressed the terroir of Nice Monferrato. A meeting with winemaker Matteo Gerbi was the spark that made this vision a reality. Matteo's extensive experience at prestigious wineries in the Langhe region helped him chart a clear path. Today, Matteo leads a passionate team, pursuing the original vision with an eye toward the future: to craft the finest wines you can find in Nizza.
Already one of the best wines in Nizza from the young appellation. A fine nose of sweet spices, nutmeg, licorice, cloves, and cumin. Ripe strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and blackcurrants. Complemented by notes of mint, rosehip, and dried rose petals. The same flavors are found on the palate. Fine, slightly grippy tannins and fantastic freshness. Great length.
